About Knock Shrine

Knock, in County Mayo, is Ireland's National Marian Shrine. On 21 August 1879 fifteen villagers reported an apparition of Our Lady, St Joseph, St John the Evangelist and the Lamb of God at the gable of the parish church. Pope John Paul II visited in 1979 and Pope Francis in 2018.

Knock receives Irish parish groups and diaspora visitors from the UK and the US; holy water bottles, rosaries and souvenirs with the apparition gable are the familiar items.

Frequently asked questions

Can you make products only for our shrine?

Yes. Every design is drawn for one place and one client. If you are the shrine’s own shop, we can keep the artwork exclusive to you.

What is the minimum order for Knock Shrine?

From 50–100 pieces per design for most products made in the EU, pilgrim kits from 30–50 sets. Larger runs from 1000 pieces can be produced with our Asian partners at a lower unit price.

Can we use the official logo of the shrine?

Only if you hold the rights or the shrine gives written permission. Otherwise we design with the architecture, the place name and traditional symbols, which need no licence.

How long does it take?

Free mock-ups in 2–5 working days, a sample in 7–10 days if you want one, then 2–3 weeks of production in the EU plus delivery.
